Adwords Miracle - Worth the dough?

Alrighty, so I read this Adwords Miracle book over the weekend and here are my thoughts about it: The first 20 or so pages covers the basics, so if you’re a newbie at Adwords, this section is perfect for you. It covers everything you need to know in a simple, step-by-step matter with pictures/screenshots and everything.

The rest of the 111 pg. book focuses mostly on making money with affiliate marketing, although there are some great nuggets in there that will work for any type of site, whether you’re a merchant or an affiliate.

If you’re an advanced Adwords marketer, you’ll probably know a lot of the information in the book already. But then again, sometimes it takes just those 1 or 2 new ideas to make a tremendous  difference in your profits. (In fact, sometimes I prefer ONLY learning 1 new thing, because then you don’t feel so overwhelmed when you’re through, like it’s going to take you all week to implement everything!!) For me that wasn’t the case here though.

I learned quite a bit even though I’ve studied a lot of other internet marketing material. However, if you aren’t at all interested in affiliate marketing, but do want some hardcore Adwords training,  Perry Marshall’s popular Definitive Guide to Google Adwords is a very good choice.

Anyway, back to Adwords Miracle. The entire section on writing ad copy has some awesome information in it, very valuable. And I’m not the only one who’s said that this section by itself is worth the investment for the whole package. Which is great, because if you don’t do affiliate marketing at all, then it’ll still be worth it to  get Adwords Miracle and use this section to increase your CTR’s and CPC’s on your current Adwords campaigns.

Although I think the “skimming method” seems slightly hyped up on the sales letter, it’s still a great technique that I’m sure is very profitable. Seems to be everybody’s favorite part of the book.

It’s certainly the best way out there to make “lazy money” since it requires hardly any time to set up in the first place, and practically no time at all to manage once it is set up. It basically involves “picking up the leftovers” in very competitive markets and making high returns on very small investments.  Lots of great techniques in this section.  The first part in the advanced bonus section about the free affiliate link cloaker is great. It also overcomes the google slap for when you want to use the Google Cash method.

Free and effective, doesn’t get any better than that! And the cheat-list of profitable niches is awesome. A great resource to have if you’re struggling to figure out what niche to be in. There’s also some more great info for avoiding the google slap, now and in the future.  Overall, I think the content is great. I like the writing style, and there are plenty of specific examples making everything easy to understand.

One of the “cons” would be that the font size is kind of large, which I personally like actually because I read it on the computer as opposed to printing it out. But if you wanted to print it to read, that might be kind of a pain with that font.

I also didn’t like the fact that the table of contents wasn’t “clickable”. I like being able to click a link from the table of contents and have it take me to that section. Not a big deal though. That has no effect on the quality of the information.

What I did like is that there’s no fluff and B.S., and it’s not jammed full of advertisements for the author’s other products, or affiliate links or anything lame like that. I think Adwords Miracle is very useful for all types of marketers - beginners, intermediate and advanced marketers can all get something of value out of it.  AdWords Miracle officially gets my seal of approval as a quality investment.  :)
