Job Opportunity: Summary: Although we are primarily a marketing company, an important key to our success is our technology. We are looking for an energetic, experienced, talented technical self-starter that can not only keep our current systems running but also help us keep up with the demands of our rapid growth. You will be the primary person responsible for our technology including our servers, our databases, our scripts, our autoresponders, our CRM system, etc. You will not only make sure that these systems are running well but create training programs for users so they can be able to use them. In addition you will work with our team to implement the technical side of new initiatives. Ø Setting up new websites (register domain, set up on server, creating the template to be used for that site). Ø Work with Product Manager in creating each page and making changes to those pages as needed. Includes integrating opt in forms, order forms, membership sites, blogs, stats tracking, split testing systems, video and audio integration into sites. Ø Create and implement backup schedule for all domains on all servers, including the scripts, graphics, media files and the databases. Ø Identify and document needs for systems and software, creating specifications for custom development or RFPs for acquiring software. Ø Provide technical support to our staff. Ø Maximize the uptime of our systems, especially our money sites. Ø Manage DNS, domains, servers, autoresponders, ecommerce and CRM systems. Ø Custom programming as needed using basic php, javascript and mysql. Ø Use automation tools to automate common tasks in the business. Ø Oversee the outsourcing of software development. Ø Oversee and be main point of contact for the 3rd party CRM solution used in the company. Ø Upload promotional campaigns to the CRM system (order forms, autoresponder sequences, etc). Ø Schedule promotional mailings with the marketing team. Ø Handle tier 2 customer support on technical issues. Ø Provide recommendations of software, systems and operation changes that will improve the company’s ability to deliver quality service with high availability. Ø Be able to grow and manage the growing technical needs for the company as it expands in all areas of business. Ø Create 3 year plans for budgets, personal, equipment, outsourcing, for the technical needs of the business. Ø Manage the development and maintenance of a company wide dashboard system.
Ø
Provide
regular reports as to the health of the systems and their performance such
