Job Opportunity: Summary: The position of Product Manager will be in charge of a line of products associated with one or more of our authors, clients or in-house products. They will focus on market analysis, strategic direction, new product development, and overseeing marketing initiatives. This individual must posses a unique blend of business savvy, attention-to-detail, ability to implement action plans, work with and oversee teams of people, a big picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. A Product Manager is responsible for the initial vision including positioning, product development oversight with an eye towards the big picture of the product line, marketing strategy and the entire life cycle of customers while maintaining a focus on maximizing customer value. Ø Working with other team members and 3rd party service providers to launch, market and maintain the product categories you are responsible for. Ø Ability to form teams (either in-house or outsourced) to complete tasks. Ø Strong attention to detail to make sure nothing falls through the cracks and everything is properly completed and according to the timelines established. Ø Oversee the launch of new programs and products. This includes market research and analysis, working with the following teams (product creation, technical/website creation, sales copy) and getting it to the point of ready to launch. Ø Working with the marketing team to drive traffic using multiple methods, implement regular promotions, monitoring key stats, and sourcing new content (articles, reports, new products) with the Content Creation team. Ø Creating a marketing plan and calendar and oversee the implementation of those initiatives. Ø Write occasional emails used in the marketing and product delivery. Ø Keeping a close pulse of the program, its customers and the marketplace to identify areas of opportunities. Ø Identify and position the product for new markets.
