Being successful is not easy. However, your story is very interesting and inspiring.
From the farming life we learn to work hard and build our lives under beautiful but frequently complicated situations with limited resources, which make creativity the source of new opportunities.
From there it is very challenging to become successful and your process into a life changing environment is inspiring.
I would be happy of following you into a new inspiring success story.

You did a similar video for your 10 in 90 program and I'm still so inspired by your story.
Thank you for sharing Kevin. It really is refreshing to hear an Internet Marketer talk about how to help people less privileged than they are rather than just accumulating more. You go for the big cars, house and big boys toys but it's also great how you give back.

Hey Kevin
Great story about your climb to the top and still growing. Very inspiring indeed, I'm in the same current situation but a little worse as far as income. I just purchased you "Nitro Blueprint System" and look forward to a very successful business.
I really like the video you sent for Nitro Blueprint customers on managing your time.

Kevin,
I liked listening to your story. Wished that I had the insight of the internet back in the 90's. However, I have it now and want to improve on my successes. I've got two blogs right now and am looking at becoming an affiliate marketer to bring in some needed cash. Got some ideas for products of my own and will pursue them this year.
Looking for a mentor to help me through the tech stuff. There is just too many people out there that sell their story as the one to follow.
Dedicated to making me more profitable in 2010,
Hal

I know what you went through. I am currently going through it. My wife lost her job which took over $35,000.00 yearly from our income. we are in an area where unimployment is at over 23%. I now have our only home up for sell. It is a great cape cod lake front home valued at over $280,000.00. I can not even get an offer for over $180,000.00 on it. I,ve sold my truck & luckly get to work from home every other day. I hope this program will help me achieve my income goals soon. I loved the video. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kevin
Thank you - I appreciate your sincerity and your story.
I spent years getting 'educated', but have finally realised what you realised - that creative entrepreneurship is a great option. I recently left my long-term job to do the things that have always been 'on the back burner', but things I was never going to get around to.
So, I appreciate your perspective and your inspiration.
Best regards from New Zealand

I read the story, but didn't completely, however as soon as my new computer arrives here tomorrow and I can see the video, then I could decide whether I will get involved in your business.
So far, the story is very interesting, amazing, and seemingly
helping people especially those who are starting from the scratch
in business which is down to earth kind, noble and charitable.
Thank you very much for your email.

Kevin,
Some time ago I purchased your LBMM program and am not looking back since watching it. It really isn't about our stories, although it always ads to it, my story is very different, I'm 43 and happily married with a great son, however, I've had the burning itch to be my own "boss" for the past 10-years but lacked the fortitude until just recently.
I still have my J.O.B…for now, however I've already made $3600 in the last month, so…the bottom line, your stuff works and in the next year, I will be doing the same thing you are.
Congrats and much success to everyone who moves beyond the "try" stage. Remember Yoda…"try, there is no try, do or not do"
Cheers,
Steve Bell

Hi Kevin… Your story is one of inspiration. I was touched by your recognition of your sister and single mothers. I am a single Mom of 2 girls and my youngest daughter (just turned 18) is also a single mother of a 2 y.o. son. We will both be checking out the website you mentioned. I look forward to being able to meet you one day and will stay connected via the internet in the meantime.
Thank you for all you do!

Hello Kevin,
You are a good person. This shows through with every word you say. I loved watching your story. It brought tears to my eyes because so many things you said happened to me too. I could feel the pain when you hit bottom, and then it got worse… but crashing your car was actually a blessing in disguise for you… As we say in Mexico: God squeezes you, but he doesn't suffocate you… And then I loved how you triumphed, and you made it big… and now you are giving back to your high school, and you are helping your sister… I love and admire that you are a good man. You are a great example for all of us.
Kevin Wilke for President!
I send you a big hug,

Great to see you again Kevin, your is truly is a terrific story. I asked my aspiring internet marketing son to watch it too.

I still dream but drive is fading.

one thing that was subtle in your video was how you saw yourself as a success and did whatever it took to progress maybe without even realizing it at the time.
you're remarkable, kevin.

Hey Kevin, great video! Thanks for sharing your story. I am happy that you became very successful. It is stories such as yours that keeps us who are failing from bailing. I am also a kindred spirit. I had SCUBA equipment and dove in every lake of every golf course in Maryland and sold used golf balls back to all of the golfers who didn't make it over the water hazard.
My mom had Alzheimer's and needed around the clock care. I couldn't afford around the clock nurses so I quit my job to take care of my mom. When she passed away I decided to go online instead of going back to work.
You mentioned a mentor you had that taught you. I was told early on that the best way to become successful was to find a mentor. The problem is, you guys are mercenary! The cheapest mentor I could find wanted $5,000 bucks and it went up from there. One person wanted $12,000 dollars and 15% of the gross for the first year. Holy Moley! I thought for that amount, they should allow me to move into their spare room and feed me two meals a day until I master the art!
Someone else suggested a young high school student. Their computer skills are great. They could show you what you need to know. The school bus stops two doors down from my house. I went to the bus stop. I began asking the students who knew the most about computers. I was telling them I would pay them. The mothers, who were standing around the bus stop waiting for the younger students, saw me and heard me say 'I wanted to pay students" The mothers began yelling at me and calling me a pervert!! We know what you want to pay them for! I said maam' I am trying to find someone to mentor me on a computer. Yeah sure you are!! I had to flee for my life!! They were chasing me with umbrellas. So much for finding a student. It was too dangerous!
I have had many businesses in my life. Nothing that made me rich but always paid the bills. I was always able to find someone who would allow me to sit at their feet and learn. Once I offered, and was allowed to work at a company without pay for eight weeks. Every week the owner would move me to another part of his business to see how it was ran. This is how I learned the basic business principles that translate into any business.
But I have found IM more difficult to crack than any of the other businesses I have been involved in. Any suggestions?
Once again Kevin, I would like to thank you for your story. Hearing the struggles of people who had it just as bad or worse than we do gives us all hope that we too will eventually find our own way to success. Here's hoping you double your 2009 income this year. Thanks again for keeping the hope alive. bob rettman

I am just weeks away from launching my first information product. Your passion for teaching is what has made the difference. I not only know what to do, I now know HOW to do it.

You know Kevin in some ways I think all of us aspiring Internet Marketers can relate to your story on some level. Which in my humble opinion is a testament to the fact of what a genuine person you are and how anyone with the GRIT and focus no matter your circumstances can actually attain the same levels of success.
As a Nitro member I had the luxury of making your acquaintance at a Nitro event one year ago in Texas. I flew in from Boca Raton, Florida and I actually think I may have startled you comming out of the elevator…We actually laughed about that the next day when you realized I wasn't a serial killer or anything….
But seriously, I have met several IM Gurus at events and what I liked about you the most was your sincerity and noticeable genuine attitude of actually caring that the people you were attempting to help ALL received 190% of you. That meant something to me Kevin so thank you. After that particular event I actually lept leaps and bounds from where I was before the event.
Quite honestly I havent gone full time yet but I have had several smaller victories and I took away an actual business model and how to implement it which I have from my visit to your event. That and I made a ton of new friends that I still Master Mind with today.
So thank you for sharing your story, thank you for sharing your time and your knowledge.
From one I.M.er to another "It's been MUCH appreciated"
Sincerely,
Mark Battalini

So many pieces of your story resonate, Kevin. From losing the farm in Iowa to divorced parents to initial failure online, maxed out credit cards, dollar meals, mlm, wanting to support others-especially single moms, and maybe most of all…when well-meaning friends and family encouraged you to give up your dreams, get a job. KUDOS for sticking with it through all of that and for creating opportunities for others online that are legit and powerful.
Best to YOU for all you do from Carol in St. Lou

Hey Kevin,
You have an amazing mind. Loved your story about selling golf balls. My first job was harvesting night crawlers to sell to bait shops. It was nasty, but I made a few hundred. Not bad for a 13 year old kid. My writing business has done well, but not so much lately with the difficult economy. Your story made me realize that I want to earn an income while fulfilling my passion for writing fiction. Somehow, I'll find a way.

I am particularly pleased to hear that you do give back by way of your non profits and scholarships. I have been a single mom for years and I know how very hard it is. It is my dream to one day help women like me and your sister to find their power to create a wonderful life for themselves and their children.

Kevin,
Thank you for your truly inspiring story. I could relate to many of the things you shared. From selling stuff door to door as a kid, to wanting to create a scholarship fund(without scholarships, I would've never been able to attend college).
Having taken the traditional "get a degree and get a job" route to success, I was never truly happy and always wanted to work for myself and be able to contribute on a larger scale. It took me much longer than you to take the leap to entrepreneurship and learn the difference between "playing" at business and "doing" business.
Failure is just a stepping stone to success!
Thank you, again, for posting such an inspiring video…we all need a little encouragement from time to time.
Best,
Cara Yowell
