I spent close to 20,000 dollars on the Internet over the last few years.
All I have to show for a hole in my back account and a lot of software crap which only works for a few month then packs up.

I learned again no one is going to do for you with an automatic marketing system which you must do your self.

Returning to the old and the true call on the telephone to follow up leads.Close them the old fashioned way.
So i will make it point to return to the old ways but the sure ways a combination of things.
I will teach those who work with me how to market.How to do the cold call.Make an honest profit together

I look back on the mistakes that I made while trying to make it in Internet Marketing, and of course as usual hindsight is always easier than being right smack in the middle of an issue. I wanted to learn so much in internet marketing and I felt as if I needed everyone's package and they were going to be my savior to my road to internet riches. But if there is anyone reading this please listen and don't do what I did. You must pick just one area of the internet you want to specialize in just in the beginning, ex: Adsense, blogging, affiliate marketing etc. just pick one and learn all you can about that one area and make money at it to start and don't even open your other emails, they don't matter and you will not be missing a thing, i promise. Once you learn all you can about that one area and start making money, then pick a second area of specialty and do the same thing, learn and earn then move on to another area. You will reach success much faster then you will with any other method. I am a real estate investor and teach others how to become wealthy investing in real estate and fixer uppers. I advise people to do the same thing I just wrote, but didn't follow my own advice with internet marketing.

I've been watching Internet Marketing for years, and it looked just like the countless MLM meetings that I let friends drag me to for years before that. This report describes exactly the same symptoms that I saw in my MLM friends, and I suspected was going on with most of the Internet (including eBay) people that I never got to meet. This report's Table of Contents could be used for a MLM report.

X-Factor Traffic(ology) (including Seth Godin's saying "If your goal is web traffic, it's hard to think of a better place to start" than Trafficology, convinced me that these are probably the guys I will want to (finally!) follow onto the Internet. Especially since it talked about getting traffic in ways other than paying big dollars per click at search engine auctions.

I wasn't convinced that the the many companies I read over the years were even getting people to their clients' web sites, never mind closing the sales - any better than the MLM meetings.

This report confirmed my suspicion that those countless companies promising countless, instant dollars (sometimes with very little work like just typing in some blanks) were producing mostly people who were wasting as much time and money as my MLM friends (unless they were in at the start-up). I'm glad I didn't spend much time or money on either (except to do friends a favour when they were trying to get some success going - MLMs are good places to develop persuasion, sales and public speaking skills for less money than tuition, and there's at least a chance of financially coming out ahead.) I hope I'll be making money by getting them onto the Internet making good money.

X-Factor (when it arrives) will need be reviewed to help me decide if I want to go Nitro. I look at history - track records. Trafficology's Fort Knox is the best offer I've ever seen to check a company out.

I know many people are been ripped off when they first started out in their internet business venture. And that frustrate me as well.

And your report is timely, to educate the freshies what to look for when selecting materials or courses for their learning. Well done!

BAM!!! you hit the nail right on the head. I have been subscribing to every news letter out there that has promised me they have the answer. It's gotten to the point I am afraid to go into my email. I have lots of email now and no knowledge of how to do internet marketing. I know some of the things I need to know but no idea in what order I need to implement these things. Please help me out. Your report is right on target. Sadly a lot of the bamboozlers just plain lie.

Another scam I've seen a lot is so-called gurus encouraging people to throw together just any old junk and sell it. A few months ago the fad was to make a bunch of worthless interview videos and sell them for high prices.

One could say that you can't blame the newbies who follow that advice, because they are ignorant. But I think they must know they are selling junk. They are just greedy. Some of the gurus seem to be encouraging the idea that it's OK to scam people (as long as you don't use the word "scam").

The first package i remember buying was sold as a "step-by-step" system for newbies to make money. It was a huge JV launch touted by top superaffiliates. And it was a complete rip-off.

On the other hand, one of the best "step-by-step" programs I bought at the beginning cost me weeks and weeks of work, searching on line for a script that was *provided* by my autoresponder company. The guru neglected to tell me that (and he owns the autoresponder service). How was I to know?

Anyway, thanks for the report. I wish I had had it way back in March, when I started.

One thing I can say about the last few months: I have learned a lot.

I agree…there is alot of hype out there. So much for the step by
step programs that tell you a lot of "What" and not any "How".
It goes a little deeper that "Get a domain name." "Get an autoresponder." Write an article." "Send a Press Release."
That is all fine and dandy….but how….I mean how do you use the"tech" to get the job done…. Like…how do I connect the dots to all this "tech" business.

No body tells you really need to know html in order to get up and running. All the big guys have a full team around them….I'm sure they are not writing their "squeeze pages" at this point. Oh they tell you…go to frontpage or nuv or some such program… and you do… but it looks like greek. No instructions. No helps that are grass roots basic.

They don't tell you what they "really did" to get started…they come from the point of view from where they are now in the business.

I think most newbees are willing to put in the work…they just need the "whole" truth. Don't tell me that you don't have to know html and then not provide the resources that will help you out. Sending someone to "rent-a-coder" is not the answer. Most new people don't even know the question to ask when hiring someone.

I will be watching Nitro carefully… I don't want to
get locked in to any more "What programs." I need a good "how program." Simple language…simple directions. and the whole
simple truth.

I am in the middle of the struggle. I have a hard time trying to figure out just who on the net has integrity and who has not. The other challenge; whether they are worth it or not, is the high cost of a lot of the labor saving software. And then there is the problem of thinking one is getting a terrific product and you come to find out that it is something rebranded and watered down. Now I realize this does not happen in all cases but it happens enough that ones thoughts and goals can become easily scattered to the wind if one does not stay on top of things. I just wish I could stop suffering from info overload in my email. I don't know how the rest of you do it but I find email very time consuming and it seems as though it is hard to discern the crap from the good things.

I have great problems working out who is good and who isn't. At the moment I am trying to get my money back from a well known English marketeer who I originally trusted but found the training lacking as things were missing, didn't work or not explained as well as they could. I tried my best but as I ran out of money with nothing to show for it nor any chance of making anything which is not how it was promoted, I asked for a refund on the 16th of November. Now it is the 25th and I haven't got a reply but I have had access to the site blocked and a message saying that I am a refunded member. Not true.
This is why I want to find someone I can trust, as there does not appear to be many of them, who can show me how to make money online in a way I can understand and at a price I can afford. Like many, I do not need to make millions. If I could make $150 a day then that would sort me nicely. It isn't a fantastic sum and should be achievable but at the moment I seem to be just losing money to the conmen.

I have come to the conclusion that there is not one, yes I mean not one big name bag of wind on the net that is to be trusted and further, check out who is JV ing with whom, they are all in each others pockets.
I too spent around $20,000.00 on the net I have just declared BANKRUPT.
No I was not declared Bankrupt I declared and filed for Bankruptcy myself.

Once the news breaks the emails dry up, those supposedly good friends who just want to help you succeed, providing you invest in the next load of crap,disapear you are no longer an easy mark and your emails go unanswered.
Now I am no stary eyed youngster not even young actually on the wrong side of 74, so perhaps I should know better but I grew up when a firm handshake was a contract.
we have seen how these big names band together when one of their numbers hits a snag.
Sell a bundle of dust collecting blah blah and hit the net hard for you mate, after all the millionaire you bought one of your dust collecting programs from is about to lose his rented home, funny I thought They all lived in mansions paid cash for.
Oh well maybe I got it wrong and they just want to buy a very large camper trailer, how many homeless would love the chance of that kind of accomodation.
Maybe I sound bitter, well maybe I am.

I got so discouraged and fed up with the "so called" internet marketing guru crowd that I just dropped out of the scene in 2000. I kept doing internet marketing but I stopped going to seminars, stopped buying the next great course, and opted out of all the high priced sales pitches being emailed to me every day.

No one gave the WHOLE PICTURE. No one started from where I was at and showed me how to get to where I needed to be. So, I was forced to struggle through teaching myself and learning from trial and error.

I was fortunate to be a beta tester for the Blueprint system and it is the most comprehensive step-by-step system I've even seen. It helped me realize which things I was doing right, what changes I needed to make quickly, and which things I needed to outsource if I wanted to get them done right.

I wish I had the Blueprint when I started online in 1996.

Oh boy you are opening up a can of worms - be interesting to see how many posts you get here. Over the last 8 years I spent over $600,000 (~USD$300,000) trying to get the internet dream to happen for me - now I don't tell you that figure to brag - frankly it sickens me when I look at that figure - and makes my wife angry! There is a small silver lining - after 8 years my first online business that my wife Kristina runs http://ProductsFromNewZealand.com has over 100,000 visitors per month and actually makes a profit. Not enough to tell you the figure and not enough to pay back the debt…

We have been mentored by Corey Rudl's team (when he was alive) and after USD$25,000 spent on that exercise we still where going backwards (and yes we committed to the 15+ hours a week of working ON the business as was required (more likely 40+ hours we committed to this)… So, I look forward to seeing if you are the real deal. Keep in touch - oh and if you want to purchase some junk food (candy) from New Zealand - then go and check out my wife's online store (85% of our orders come from the USA). Keep us afloat. Thanks!

Sometimes I wonder if this whole Internet Markting thing is a huge scam initself. I prefer to do "Information Markting". If you give people what they are really looking i.e information (some at no charge) then they might also pay you to get more infromation from you. My two cents on this….

I'm amazed guys. First, you can make money online… without spending tons, without havings tons of money invested & with a crappy website. I earned more than $100,000 in less than 9 months online… primarily from e-mail marketing. I never used any Pay-Per-Click, had horrid SEO, no salescopy, etc. Although, I'm convinced I would've made over $500,000 (if not more) if I'd also applied some of these other techniques in addition to my e-mail marketing efforts too. My list had a maximum of 612 members at its peak & I didn't charge monthly recurring fees to join my newsletter or forum either. YES… I've spent money & been hustled too (but it's ME who hustled myself, not the "gurus"). Fact of the matter is that most of the information out there is good info. But we either don't ever look at it; overthink it; give up because we feel its "us against the world", always end up "looking for help all the time", and bottom line… cause our own failures. Trust me… since I made that first $100,000… I've fallen into the same traps I just described. Even posting comments to blogs is a disease that plagues us, because it keeps you/us from focusing on what's truly important… JUST DOING IT! I wish everyone here the very best, and whether you cast your lot with Nitro Marketing or anyone else (accept responsibility, quit getting bogged down into the same old excuses, and just DO it). That's the only thing that keeps anyone from making money online OR offline. One of the posts here talked about going back to the old tried & true offline technique of cold-calling & using the telephone… which works… if you do it. But, there's also alot of "offline gurus" who can teach you how to improve on your offline, cold-calling techniques; qualifying techniques, closing techniques & more. So, the same thing holds true OFFLINE! If you get bogged down in all the details, give up on on a new technique because they "must've left out a critical detail", etc…. then you only have yourself to blame.

I agree..it's time to tell th truth. Creating a real internet business that makes profit and that can be sold for a profit takes some hard work.

If you have a passion for your work it helps but it doesn't pay the bills. Copywriting seems to be one area where the gurus excel and we can learn a lot more about how to create our message, but perhaps not be as blatantly colorful as the gurus.

A business with integrity is going to catch eyeballs of prospects and by providing good value you eliminate your competition. The Nitro System gives you the steps, now it's up to you whether you want to follow in their footsteps.

So true in what your report states. Already been scammed with the hype "how to make money on line" and lost a couple thousand. I have been innundated with emails with proposals for the "Great MONEY MAKING Systems" that will make you fast cash while you sleep at night, get rich quick, grow an interenet business etc… Only to be disappointed with the systems that I have purchased. They start you off with the motivation of even a newbie can do it (such as myself), but you soon learn when you have a technical problem, the support programs are whack. They don't respond in a timely manner, or they feed you their solution to the problem and you realize it's not the answer to the problem you are having. We are baited in with the "how to" step-by-step approach on how to make money on line only to become frustrated due to the lack of the one important missing element. "THEY DON'T TELL YOU EVERYTHING THAT'S NEEDED." I have devoted 2006 to researching and watching many of the new How to Make Money On Line Promos and have ignored them because there is always something missing in how to really do it. It clearly would help if we the consumer are provided with up front operating cost to get a system up running to make money. We are often mislead that you purchase a system say for $$$$ and that's it. Later you find out you need an autoresponder, traffic generator, banners, blogs, write aritcles etc. Additional cost to optimize your system for making money. Not to mention, I can clearly see there are a lot marketers partnering with each other to promote each other's products. If a new product is generated only the test of time will tell if they are successful. Your report, Chapter 5, will assist me in assessing what to look for in a true system before I venture into IM in 2008. Thanks for the shake up.

So many sharks on the net ready to take you to the cleaners. Some are very big names that many people follow only to be disappointed and left flopping around.

I stopped the insanity for me a while back and then found success after I found focus.

It's a shame that after all this time, I can count on one hand the big guru's that i trust and still have fingers left.

As Ronald Reagan said "Trust but Verify". Seems like fitting advice for following Internet Marketers!

A true report that I can verify from experience. I am looking forward to Nitro Blueprint to see if it lives up to its currently low hype. It's costing me heaps to date - in ht epoo with the wife and children at the moment for lack of results. BTW, the link to "The Get rich quick report" seems to be broken.

As soon as everyone that wants to do this business realizes that it is work and not "an easy road to riches" the better off they will be.

I started a couple years ago and quickly found out that I could get all the new and greatest things a couple months after release for just my name and email address. To date have spent under a thousand bucks and those were spent on softwares that I use on a daily basis.

There is no: quick fix, 4 clicks to millions, closely guarded secrets to riches, sure fire-all in one-complete system to online success!

The secret is in a (free) report I wrote. No email address required, no cost, just read it and if you need step-by-step help, then the Nitro Guys will be a good place to start. (no, I am not affiliated with the Nitro Guys just been around the block long enough to spot genuine help when I see it!)

Then if you need basic help, sign up with the Nitro Guys and….ACTUALLY DO IT.

Great info. I have been doing MLM on the internet - the WORST GURUS are in the MLM arena. Faking it till you make it.

I have seen all the scams - 1UP, 2UP, What's UP… Schemes. And people (suckers) paying through the nose for up to $3,995!

Over the past two years I've downloaded a ton of how-to internet marketing products. I've found some good ones and not so good ones. I've never seen a COMPLETE system broken down in a 'do this today then do this' manner that I could afford to buy. I turned to the internet not to get rich, but to supplement my small pension. What I've seen is a lot of good advice, followed by unaffordable tools to implement the processes. That's what sucks the power out of the dream. I'm optimistic (based on the 'dirty laundry' report) to see what NITRO has developed.

The sheer amount of total garbage being promoted online is enough to drive the most content of individuals completely nuts. It seems like people could care less about building trust and a relationship with their clients…they try to run they're "business" like a faceless money-grabbing robot. As far as complete systems go, I have seen a couple that come close but nothing that made it clear and complete enough for the average person who is serious enough to do the work required to build an actual business based on foundations of trust and providing service and real value.

I am new to this game of internet marketing and reading all I can on it to get the big picture of what it is all about. From reading this report it looks like for the old days it was a bit of a scam but now the truth is coming out and I thank people

I'll be interested to see what you've got up your sleeve. With no offense meant, this is just a report, which 90% of those out there know about anyway.

It held nothing new for me, sorry.

I have read each reply and can readily identify with Lee above.

We each need to accept personal responsibility for our own failure to apply the fundamental laws of life to our ventures.

But in defense of many who have written above, and me as well: Oftimes age and past butt kicks will dull or even nullify in our minds, our life's experiences and we move into a dream-like sequence of hoping that all of the laws of GOD and nature have somehow been put on hold, and we desperately buy the latest this or that, hoping that by doing so, we can recapture the lost fortunes of the past "overnight".

I am as reasonably intelligent as most, and have had many successes in the past, most often ending with problems of my own making from being too damned nice to those who did not deserve it.

Why? Ah, if I only knew.

So , desperate to "make it" again and get my wife a house and flowers and sunshine again, I leaped into the fray, all the while trying to focus on the best MLM opportunity I had/have seen in twenty five years, but having vowed to NEVER put all my eggs in the MLM basket again, I found myself buying an unbelievable amount of internet marketing material.

I do not agree that all of the big boy gurus are "out to get newbies", even though I have been a willing victim of buying every thing that came into this puter. Not ONE of them reached through my Dell and twisted my arm.

Coming to my senses a few weeks ago and looking at MY DOCUMENTS file and seeing seventy things I have purchased was like a slap in the face, a cold shower, and a butt kick all at once. So I set about to get out of monthly payments, in most cases on probably excellent products that had only gathered dust. I found some real gentlemen, several in the UK, who stopped the payments but said I could come back at any time and pick back up. I purchased just about everything Chris McN suggested and could only assume that I felt a trust, for guys of that caliber are light years ahead of me in understanding the net nuances. So I bought the highly touted Assassin program and find to my delight that it is structured in a way that I can jump in and see some income in a short while. He seems in this program to genuinely seek to bring newbies up to a living income as quickly as possible and it does have most of the get goin stuff set up as a do this, do this this way, do that, etc.

Meantime I have tried to focus on the MLM as well, and you cannot ride two horses…(well, you can, but you'd better be a circus performer)…

The win is to focus hard core on the one thing until you have the income level which allows you to confidently build another income.

I have been a top producer in one of the industry's most famous companies, on the way to a million when the forces of evil moved in to destroy, as they do to nutrition oriented companies. It happened years later with Seasilver, a terrific product, but destroyed by the ******* in power politics.

It was those two totally wipe out experiences that led me to the net in the first place.

But now I see the fortune about to explode in the company to which I devoted my networking skills and people skills. So my focus is on getting ready for the monster leap in volume which will begin in January.

And unsubscribing from at least fifty marketer emails. Man , did buying the SpamArrest program save my frustration.

What I did , I did to myself.

Being an Irish (American) I am poetic, and once wrote a neat poem, which began:

"Ogres, and Dragons and Mean Little Elves
Cannot do the damage which we do to ourselves"

and continued.

There is BS everwhere, from churches to MLM to the net. I have shaken myself out of the mesmerized state (self induced) and am rolling hard core on the network program which is clearly headed for a million dollar earning company.

Nope, I did it to myself. but have a ton of good information for when I can return to build another basket. I found "gurus" to be really OK guys, by and large. In fact quite a few stand out as dedicated and sincere. No, I will not castigate a group by 'tarring with the same brush".

A Marxist psywar technique. Yes, I was trained in anti subversion also.

I am not some pityful newbie who thinks he can strike it rich overnight with some of those lame products by some self-proclaimed guru. I have been in this business for some time and I do make money online although, it is not enough to live the lifestyle of the Hollywood stars, I do make money online.
I know that it takes time and effort (W.O.R.K.), yes WORK, to be successful but I have yet to see the guy(s) who will help me to monitize the stuff and really help me to move to the next stage.

Thanks for a fantastic report. It is very timely as I have been feeling very jaded at the industry for sometime and I was starting to feel a bit dumb. Seeing all the people out there making a fortune and quitting their jobs, and here I am working my butt off for very little return.

But from the posts above it appears I am not the only one and there appears to be a common theme amongst us all, including myself.

I've been attempting to make money on the internet now for the last 3 or so years. I have literally spent over $30,000 and studied my butt off (and applied what I learnt).

The pieces are coming together and I am finally working out what to do, but it has not been easy and has been a very confusing journey. However, I have not quit for some reason.

To date the return on my investment has been very poor.

The best I've done is to work on my website for over a year everyday to generate about $200 per month in revenue which I am extremely grateful for.

This experience was a real eye opener because it showed me that like all things, this business requires dedication and hard work.

I no longer buy products from Internet Marketing Gurus because I've finally realised the game and their conflict of interest.

You see, I looked around this big pond and realised what was going on, we are not being taught to fish to feed ourselves, but we are the fish feeding the Gurus!

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that there are a lot of honest people in this industry that do want to help us.

But I am sick and tired of the game being played.

At the moment I am trying my own little social experiment by putting out a challenge to all Gurus!

I am offering any guru out there to GIVE ME their system and I'll give them 50% of my profits over the next 2 years.

I would have thought I'd be swamped with offers from these gurus as surely they could get a bigger return from my profits than the thousands they make from the initial sale.

So how many people have taken me up on the offer? None, Zilch, Nada….

I rest my case.

Seems after reading all this that just about everybody has the same problems with the whole thing, problem is that we still try and go on to lose even more.
You know that the majority of us earn more in our real life jobs, own more, as regards physical toys.
cupboards running out of space because we had to have the latest gadget and you know what just like the rubbish we bought on the net, the gadgets lie gathering dust in the back of the cupboard, perhaps they are too complicated to set up, take up too much bench space and in any case do not give the same satisfactory results as the old way.
The tragedy is that all this affluant living and we have less in savings than the generation that went before,we spend more, save less and unlike our parents are in debt up to our eyballs.

We are it seems running backwards.

There are only so many ways to bake a cake, the icing may be a different colour the filling unusual and different but the basic cake is the same given the basic recipe we can all bake the cake some will have a masterpiece some will have a disaster but the kids will love it.
Problem is that we are not being sold tangible items we are being sold so much gas and do we really need all this information.
Infomation is golden if it leads somewhere and teaches a skill or a method or imparts knowledge that will stand us in good stead.
The information programs {e-books} thet we are being told is a must if we want to succeed, is lets face it mostly a load of gas and I mean the type that has a bad odour.
Unfortunately There is no regulatory body prohibiting and closing down scams, there should be.
One has to have a licence to sell fish and chips and the product has to meet certain standards why then are there so many people out there selling
absolute crap.
I refuse to lie to make a sale unfortunately most of the people who send emails to me do not have the same ethics.
I have several book cases full of books that I bought some very old that are a pleasure to open.
Now the differnce here is that I went physically to the book store, browsed through the contents before I bought and I had in all probability decided on what subject I wanted information.
I seldom buy novels but I do have a collection of the classics.

Over the past few months, as a newbie, I have "purchased" so called systems that look good and some actually cover many important knowledge aspects, but none have provided the acurate "blueprint" required so one can follow and replicate the "system". There are always parts missing and they all take too much knowledge and experience for granted. As a trainer myself I find their lack of effective and efficient training astonishing and deplorable!

Lets call this Company John Paul Advertising LTD for this story, I’ve been trying to make a living online now for about 6 years with little to no success, so I started to follow the lead of this big name marketing and list building company word for word.

I must have joined every new list builder they came out with, purchased almost every lead package they recommended, and still didn’t make the kind of money they said I would make, so when they launched there latest project around the 1st. of November 2007; I refused to join; I was sick and tired of receiving hundreds of emails a week just to keep them in business.

Every since I refused to join one of there list builders John Paul Advertising LTD has begun closing all of my accounts with them at 1 a week for no apparent reason.

They did all this because my credit card was reaching it’s limit, that is the reason why I had to let them go; I would receive an email informing me “ your account is now unsubscribed”

I didn’t unsubscribe my account, I didn’t send them an email asking them to unsubscribe me, I didn’t click on the unsubscribe me link; their payment processor company didn’t send me an email, but I have received those emails from the payment processor company in the past that I immediately took care of on the spot.

So how did my account get unsubscribed, because You know the only way you can join there company is by using your credit card and taking the chance of being labeled by PayPal as being part of some kind of matrix, mlm, pyramid scheme etc.

I guess the old saying “The Money Is In The List” is true, because they seem money hungry to me, and damm everyone else, that is why I’ve decided to build my own list and all those big name marketing & list building companies can just kiss my you know what, because I look at it this way now (if I have to receive hundreds of emails a day or week just to be a member there company, it’s not worth me being a member) an I was a paying upgraded member, Too!

As a result of me being so swamped with what seem like a mountain of emails, my downline members were being neglected; I was spending all damm day reading, sorting, deleting, an answering all those freaking emails.

My email boxes stayed full with email I had received 3 months ago,
I spent 1 Whole Week Deleting Old Emails from Months Back, but it didn’t matter because the very next day; my email box starting filling up all over.

Also when they tell you “oh just switch to a gmail account” don’t do it especially if you have to use your gmail account as your list email address, because all those emails will follow you to your gmail account.

I am not saying that you have to join anything I recommend, but please get into some kind of list building course and start building your own list of people that you can email, and let’s show these companies were are mad as hell and are not going to take it any more.

Let us come together as an internet community and shut them down.

From a copywriter's point of view, one who has ghostwritten copy for large multi-million dollar clients down through to small independent entrepreneurs, I was disappointed in your report.

Maybe my expectations were set too high as I've been following your work(s) since the days before you became Nitro …and perhaps I expected more gut-wrenching from-the-heart kind of true stories that would possibly tell me you truly care about me — the reader — and not your next big project.

Your call to action was clear, but your use of anti-hype was buried beneath the hype, yet again. It came out sounding like you were selling hopium to the masses. Sorry, just my humble opinion.

"There is nothing as powerful as an idea whose time has come." I wish I'd said that, I wish I new WHO said that, but anyway it rings true with what your report points out.
Some of us chalk up our losses to "experience" or "the price we pay for success" which is all bull in my book. Give me proof of something that works and I'll buy it and promote it. which brings up another issue…PROMOTION, or how to promote said "system".

Sure there is alot of truth to this report and frankly it serves you all right for aimlessly spending your cash and not doing the work! Can I speak as someone who has made it work? Well judge for yourself…I started with nothing and no budget whatsoever and sold over 24,541 copies of my ecourse for 67 bucks a pop. It took me nearly 18 months to make my first sale and then another six - eight months to make any money. But when I hit it I hit it well. Tip 1 Dont listen to what you are being told but carefully study what these gurus are actually doing…eg sales letters, email follow ups building rapport etc. These guys at Nitro are sincere and some of the few that tell it like what they actually do. But you have to do the work. Find a good market and develop a product based on what is proven and selling. Make a better offer than the top selling product and tap into the market get momentum and build on it . A big mistake is sitting on your arse when you experience a little success. WOW what a great report. It came at the right for me. I am just starting out and have spent the last two months just trying to separate the crap from the firtilizer. One thing I have learned is how not to run an internet marking business — how to read past all the hype and see what is really being offered. It seems to me that most marketers including the big names have been listening to their own hype for so long that they have begun tobelieve in it.

The lesson is Create A Simple System. Most tools can be found for free, most reports end up in JV Giveaways eventually or pass on as PLR onuses for signing up to an eZine. MOst money seems to be made by selling hot air to newbies or the plain desperate. To me this is a loosing strategy.

I have a simple check list on the wall above my computer. Creat a report (or someother product), convert it to a format people can access, put it up on the web and promote it. The secret is in making sure the product is unique and addresses your passions.
There are no easy ways to make money, every system requires work and knowledge and time. If you want to use the Internet as a vehicle to sell your products then learn how to use the Internet.

You would not expect a business owner using bricks and morter to not understand how to least a shop or office or how to use thier cash register or order products or write reports for their clients so why expect to do the same thing on the Internet without those skills?

The KISS principle works: Keep it simple and know how to use the tools you have on hand.

As I said this is a great report that made me think about what Internet Marketing is all about and how to best use it. I don't expect riches over night but I do expect that with a little commonsense I will eventually make a living doing what I do.

I fell into this area of the internet about ayear ago and bought one item the iprofit package (the name says it all) read as much as I could and because I already build and mantain computers for a living found it another step in what I already enjoy by learning to build websites S.E.M. etc; I like many others here have never earned a bean from my efforts. I also have seen past those quick buy now merchants along time ago. The only way to make money is as I`m hoping is to produce something honest and to affiliate it out through the resources available. The only people who are making the money are the ones who start these projects. So again looking for some kind of honesty I`ve put together a site with the necassary components of what you need and they`re either availabe as a free download or a free trial. That way people know what they are letting themselves in for. Don`t buy anything or sign up to anything unless you are allowed to try it first.

I have to admit great great letter. Being "newbie" to the online marketing world I can tell how sincere you guys are about this program and looking out for peoples success. In my other industry there a lots of people preying on peoples ignorance and capitalizing on it by taking their money and returning zero value. It's about time someone has had enough courage to tell what happens most of the time when someone wants to get into internet marketing. I know that I have spent a lot of money and time and have very little to show for it.
I also know that it is great that the NitroMarketing folks have a developed a program that will work (keywords: Will Work) for you in a step-by-step method that delivers results…as long as you are willing to take action.

I have earned a lot of money, and I have spent a lot of money buying courses… My computer is full of e-books that I DON'T HAVE THE TIME to read… but I still buy e-books, and I still buy courses, and I still sign up for marketing courses from some of my favorite TEACHERS (which includes Joe Vitale, Nitro Marketing, Fred Gleeck, Paul Hartunian, Jay Abraham, Mark Hendricks, Jo Han Mok, Shawn Casey, Josh Anderson… etc.)

The problem in this world is really "Who Can I Believe?" There are a lot of Bamboozlers but perhaps my biggest bamboozler is ME, because I don't DO IT…

You have to ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY, it is the Bamboozler's fault if they sell you a book or a course that is not good… but it is YOUR FAULT if you buy good material and you don't read it, or you read it but YOU DON'T DO what they teach you to do.

I know, I've been there, I have been bambooozled, but I have also bamboozled myself… And in spite of it all, I have made a lot of money on the internet, but I could have made 100 times more, and that is what I still want to do.

It is not for the money… it is for what earning the money means: it means that I helped somebody, somewhere, to do something good for that person.

I'm delighted to see that someone's making a stand against the high-priced nonsense that a lot of so-called gurus are peddling online.

Many of the techniques they sell are simply going to get the buyer into trouble, with their sites banned by the search engines, or their earnings frozen by their credit card facility provider… and I've even had e-mails boasting about the stuff they're offering me being illegal (it's amazing how quickly you can find the "unsubscribe" link when you're mad enough!).

I specially like Ellis's comment, above. I, too, want to make good money by helping other people to make the most of their opportunities and their lives, and I'm fed up having people deride me for it.

When I pay the money that I've earned online into my account, I want to be able to feel good about what I've got it in return for, not ashamed of having lied and cheated for it.

It's good to be among people who believe that honesty and fairness aren't just some ideal that no-one bothers to live up to - they actually work.

This report was truly awesome. I have only been online for 2 months, and have only made about $100, but have spent well over $1000 already in \"systems\" that I thought would be bringing in several thousand a month.

Its not that I don\'t want to work for it, but there is always something missing that leads me to the next Biggest and Greatest thing that will fill in those blanks.

Interesting comments from many disgruntled seekers of fortune. I empathize with them, but can't help but wonder just how much "greed" plays a part. I know in my case I have to guard carefully my enthusiasm because many times it is fired by greed, not common sense. I, too, have been stung, but the blame lies only with me for the above reason. Now I have watched the Internet Business over the past four years, never subscribed to any software (oops! did once for a book writing system that I could never figure out) and marvel at the inbreeding that seems to take place with JVs or affilliates. They have some value but need to be carefully scrutinized for that value that applies to your specific case.

Well, my constant observation reminds me that nearly every comment reveals not much about the problem, but vast amounts about the commentator (myself included). So now I wait to see what the Blueprint system will reveal. Hopefully it will be one answer to the search for success online.

I can agree with a lot of the comments above but most of what we do is 20% know how and the 80% sweat blood and tears. I have been watching Nitro for about sixteen months as that is the time I have been on the internet and have spent a lot of money without any results so to speak of so this time I will be successfull. 97% fail or give up to early as it does take time to be successfull, not like we are led to believe by the people making money online.

Yes, there are a TON of scammers out there, and in the internet marketing field there are TWO TONS. There is such an incestuous feel to the 'my friend "x" and I have put together a killer offer for my list only' kind of marketing that most of these greedy marketers pull… doesn't it seem that the majority of the big dogs are making their money by selling rehashed crap to the hopeful masses?

So many posters here have it right when they discuss how they themselves are partly to blame for buying in to the 'make-money-on-autopilot' bulldung that the heavies lay out there. I just have to laugh when I read a hype-filled exaggeration-laden sales page trying to get you to buy a product that will teach you how to write hype-filled, exaggeration-laden sales pages. YEESH!

When you take a step back, this whole 'marketing to marketer wannabees' racket has become kind of disgusting. And confusing for a beginner marketer. I got an email from one of the big dogs telling me to "sign up for any of the following credit cards", with links to a handful, so I could "leverage other people's money" to enroll in some system he was pushing. Of course, he was an affiliate for the credit cards and makes money on any fool desperate enough to actually follow his lame advice. Needless to say, I opted out of that #&%* list at once.

Where are the ethics? Does every beginner marketer become just another mark in their eyes?
More than ever, it is crucial that a new person just looking into the possibilities of starting an internet business be on their toes and avoid getting sucked in by the traps set for them by the experienced and savvy veterans… most of whom do not have any problem with taking your money and dashing your hopes.

Here's hoping this subtle prelaunch tactic is actually going to lead to some true, honest help for those who are willing to do the work!

My life has been one of "two paths converging in a lonely wood…and taking the one less taken." It has brought me to a place in life where I would like to be home with family and grandchildren. I am a systems engineer so you would think this would be an easy task for me but I am looking for guidance and sincerely hope the video's provide me with good information. I have "Mr Fires" cds and have learned a tremendous amount from them. Seems like a time warp occurred and I am just catching up.

I am so new to internet marketing that when I first started reading newsletters etc I didn't even know what a browser was.

I have gleaned much information from FREE sources and am ready to embark on a follow the leader program.

Took 3 months of CD's of Joe Vitale's, Hypnotic Gold. I knew the information was good but I did not know how to apply it. I wonder if some of the folks out there that feel they have been ripped off actually did what the programs said.

Human nature tells me that most people want a program to do it for them.

I once had a spiritual teacher that after a week of seminar lectures by some of the greatest got up and said " you really only need one program if you JUST DO IT.

Life is a learning and internet courses are lessons.

This sounds like it may end up being a legitimate program and or business opportunity. I have been searching for over 3 years to get into a reputable, worthy , honest business on line. I got sucked into spending THOUSANDS on a progrma with "The Geatest vitamin in the Worls" which was a company that was run by Don Lapre, a real bullshitter from Arizona, which is I guess the capital of hte US for a bunch of scheisters screwing people over with HYPE, HYPE, and more HYPE, and absolutely no substance behind what they offer or promise. They out right lied, and use a hrd sell ,"you need this too" after they got you for something already, never letting you know what all is required to be in their business, so in other words hooking you in with it, then add on more and more.
I want to know what it is I am getting into, I want to know as best as possible what my costs are, and what I could expect to have as expenses on an on-going basis, not have a bunch of surprises and then after investing thousands, find out the company is a fraud.
I am a business man, however I was vulnerable at the time of that incident as I was diagnosed with a very serious and debilitating illness, that took me almost 2 full years to somewhat re-cooperate from with medical treatments and hospitalization. I now am in a position whereby I want an internet based business that I can run from home, something that adds value to people's lives, and at the same time provides me with a comfortable life, so that I can pay off my mortgage, and provide for my partner.

I believe ,so far that this Nitro blueprint, once more information comes available over these next few days, is turning out to be something that I want to be associated with. I am so loooking forward to finding out the rest, that I am sitting here on pins and needles. Hopefully you will fullfill your expectations that I have of this being a legitimate, honest opportunity with all the tools necessary to making a profitable business happen for me online. Hi, I just read the "Dirty Laundry" report. I must say it is consistent with my experiences of trying to get started in internet marketing.

I've been fortunate because I've not spent too much money on hype yet…maybe because I'm old enough to want to hang on to my resources. But, I know the value of having a repeatable process, or system, in order to succeed.

I know that internet marketing can give me the income I need to retire, and I don't need to be a millionaire to do that. I'll be following your videos, etc. over the coming days and am looking forward to getting more information on your system.

Please, don't let all of us down by just being another "hype marketer." Although, if I thought you were that I wouldn't be writing this.

As a student and observer of online and direct marketing for many years,there's an old saying:
"Sell the SIZZLE,not the steak".Sadly,that's what many of the "Biz Op" programs being sold today are doing.Many don't have real substance,just preying on what most everbody wants-making BIG money from home,do this easy thing-quit your job,make six figures working only 5-10 hours a week…and on and on.Everbody wants Big $$$ with no effort. That's why they play the lottery or go to Vegas!The biggest scam I see lately is a "Gifting Program".Basically saying you can get others to give you 'money for nothing'.$1000 to $6000 a day!2 business mags I get monthly are loaded with the ads promoting this crap!But people fall for it.Why? They are lazy! They want
easy money without work or effort. And when it doesn't work-they say the whole industry's a ripoff.If they had put that capital into something legit,they may have had a good chance of succeeding.It hurts the rest of us trying to do the right thing as we lose people to these scam artists.
We have to realize you have to sell a product/service that people want that benefits THEM! And you have to be willing to put the time and effort in to promote what you have -using tools like NITRO offers.Also you more than likely

I am trying to work out if the system is an affiliate recommendation type online mlm thing for the nitromarketing system or something where you get support to publicise and sell a report on a subject that is red hot and in which I am very well versed. I am an anonymous expert willing to go public with an assumed name because the subject matter is too controversial and totally real.

I am looking for support in my report to use it because everybody needs to know what it contains. (everybody? yes! – it's a 'one per home issue').

I have been thru 6 programs with guru's, coaching and the promise that this will "make you millions". This includes StomperNet at $800 a month and gurus at anywhere from $1,000 a month for a weekly 1 hr call to $6,000 PPC program. None them produced any money for me. So I am "gun shy". Everybody wants the money "up front". Where are the guys that get paid for PERFORMANCE! Then there are the guys like Armand Morin and Joel Comm that got on the Net in the late 90's and are not millionaires, I know as I have been in Armand's house.

So I am going to have to be sold that the next program I get into is going to be guaranteeed financial success for me. I have one moderate successful Net business now and two that are struggling. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make that 20K a week. But instead of my paying thousands up front, take a percentage of the business that is created from the education, training and follow through with a coach.

I will continue to watch what happens on this blog.

i have been running around the web trying to find a system that works…chasing this guru and that lead or email for the next greatest..product or get rich NOW scam..spent a lot of time and money..found a lot of information..but always something missing… but when i got your email about your nito system.. saw videos you sent… just from the simple videoes.. i learned more than from a guru's $700 program he sold to me..the box theory..hit a home run with me..suddenly.. i saw that..just starting with a basic system ..then adding more parts..makes the sales and traffic system grow..with a much greater volumn..with each box added and enlarged..makes the whole system grow.. if your first videoes.. did so much i think your whole system ..would do a great deal to help many struggling internet marketers.. i can't wait to see the rest……..thanks again bob

OMG! Your training is so eye-opening. I learned 2 things that will be huge for my business going forward. First; The fill in the boxes business map contained items I had floating around my head, but to see them organized like this means I can focus on one item at a time and really accomplish something.(not fire stray bullets all around) Second; Not perfect, just good enough resonates loudly. It tells me it's ok to move onto another aspect of my business before the impossible perfection is reached. Taking action is more important than tweaking to death.

The 10-in-90 program lays it out better than anyone. I'll give you an example, I just paid $800 to go to Ken McCarthy's "The System" Internet Intensive, and it couldn't hold a candle to the 10-the-90 5 days programs.

They really give hands-on info, absolutely the best.

Biggest waste of time ever and my first real shock in how Marketers can just walk away and leave you to rot - 10in90 run by err - Kevin. Site is still up but I think most of the real angst has been removed.

Best course ever and it is free and will go on and on till you get it - it had the highest number of members of any course - Thirty Day Challenge - Ed Dale and Dan Raine. Two guys who say it like it is and live up to their promises. It will also cost you nothing to make your first money - a free course that has taught me how it is done - Kudos to the guys.

Nitro have proved to me that they are just the same as everyone else - yes there is an elephant - and a good bit of it is Nitro.

Choose to go down the scary, unknown new path, if you stay on your current path you will keep getting the same results you have always achieved. It is only scary because you have never gone that way or done that before and have not experienced what it has to offer.

Best Internet Business in Kevin's opinion= Information Business. Information, solutions to their problems is the #1 reason they are online anyways. Provide them with what they want= solutions to their problems.

Munchies. Breakdown massive into minor and then FOCUS. Fantastic advice in Norm's opinion. One of my biggest problems getting started with anything was trying to do to much and not Focusing on the one biggest thing that needs to be done now. Which leads to the next takeaway.
