Here's a really powerful (and quick to implement) tip for your local marketing business.

Actually, you can use this with just about anything in life because its one of those universal truths.

It is the #1 most important question to ask yourself.

"How Can I?"

Unfortunately, we spend a lifetime being programmed to focus on the opposite, on the negative.

All the reasons something isn't working.
All the reasons we can't do something.

Which only keeps us stuck and unhappy.

By making that 1 simple switch, you instantly become empowered to move forward, to become more energized and to discover solutions.

Let me give you 2 BIG examples in your business.

"I don't have enough prospects for my business."

The knee jerk reaction to that challenge is to ask yourself, "why don't I have enough prospects?"

Then the struggling LBMM'er member rattles of all of the reasons why, all the stuff that isn't working, and every reason/person/thing to blame. And not a single thing in that list of why its not working moves you forward.

But, if you ask yourself how can you have enough prospects, of your ideal local business clients, you would have very different answers and start coming up with solutions.

For example, you would review the 8 client getting methods in LBMM and pick 1 or 2 of them to implement at a level 100 moving forward for the next 4 weeks. And use the feedback questions we teach you to see what's working and how to make it better.

Most likely you would start sending out some of the handwritten "light bulb" letters taught in week 2.

Our coaching students are sending them out every single week and having hot prospects contact them every week.

And then do a follow-up call with the ones who do not call you. Since you sent them something personal, when you call its about the letter you sent and changes it from no longer being a cold call.

The people making the really big money know that sitting around twiddling their thumbs never made anybody rich… so they are being smart and following up with people because that is where the money is made… and they are getting double, triple, even 5 times more clients from the exact same marketing as the person who doesn't followup.

"I don't have enough time to do the business."

Then the struggling LBMM'er member rattles of all of the reasons why there isn't enough time for them and how other people who are having success didn't have to go through what they are, and on and on.

But, if you ask yourself how can you have enough time, you would start coming up with solutions.

First, you would review the Time Maximizer training we give you as a bonus in week 2. And make sure you implement the short, simple action items like the weekly plan and mini-blasts.

Second, you would look at your typical day or week and ask yourself how can you re-arrange it to find the time.

(I guarantee you, there is not a single successful person who will say they had enough time when they were getting started… instead they FOUND the time because their success was that important to them.)

Maybe its going into the office an hour early or staying an hour late… so you can then either have more time before or after work, or take a 2 hour lunch.

Or maybe its skipping lunch and using that time to make calls, meet with people, or to get off even earlier in the afternoon.

The question will come down to…

Are you willing to do what you have to today, so you can do what you want to for the rest of your life?

The people who ask the right questions and make the smart short term sacrifices are the ones you will see as the next big success stories.

ACTION TIP: Write on a big post-it not "How Can I?" and post it where you will constantly see it until it becomes a natural way of acting in your life.

I promise, you will quickly start seeing dramatic differences in your life.

This is a story I’ve never told before. Although now in hindsight it was one of the most
profound lessons I’ve learned.

It’s the story of how I was the first user, customer and affiliate for Aweber.com (the
1st and also the largest autoresponder company) over 13 years ago.

And how I ended up, unknowingly at the time, creating a residual income 13 years ago
that I’m still getting paid for today…
despite not doing anything, literally, the past 12
years to “earn it” or “work for it”.

And, more importantly, how the “stars have aligned” for the same phenomenon to
occur (only this one is much bigger) for you and me right now today during a
brief “window of opportunity”
.

Imagine… its January 1st, 2023 and a you know a check for $11,379 is going to show up in
your mailbox that week… just like it has every month for the past 12 years.

How would your life be different if you know, no matter what, that income is there for you?

How It Happened, and How You Can Duplicate It Today

Every 10 to 12 years a new, radical change in technology comes out.

Go back in time and you can trace it with electricity, cars, TV, cable, phones, computers, the
internet, email marketing. Each one of those created massive wealth for the people who
were able to get in early and capitalize on the opportunity.

The last major one we saw was the advent of email marketing and the fancy autoresponder.

Now a-days we take those things for granted. However in an internet long, long ago,
autoresponders never existed. When I was getting started in 1996 there was no such thing.

Back then, I had become friends online with another college kid named Tom Kulzer. He was
in Pennsylvania, I was in Iowa, and we were both marketing online while going to college.

One day Tom sent me this top-secret email, about a top secret project he had been working
on for months. He then preceded to describe the modern day autoresponder with the
ability to build a list, send automated followup emails and broadcast emails to that list.

Previous to this, I would literally manage my own follow-up sequence of emails I would
send, one at a time per person, with my trusty old Eudora email program (kinda like Outlook).

A couple weeks later Tom asked me to beta-test this new amazing tool that he called
Aweber. I actually “blew it up” with 100’s of leads the first day (funny story, can share it
with you over drinks one day).

Long story short I was the first customer and affiliate (I’m affiliate 101, they now have over
250,000 affiliates) for the first company in this game changing space of followup email
marketing.

How I Created a 13 Year Residual Income

For the first few months, I spent a few hours a week signing businesses up to the service.
Not because I was an amazing visionary and knew what I was doing… instead I was flat
broke, using a credit card to pay my rent, and living off of any meal I could make for less
than a $1 (picture a cabinet full of ramen noodles and the plain box macaroni ‘n cheese).
Which meant I was doing it solely to make some fast money.

I also reached out to some other people I knew, and signed them up as affiliates too since I
would get a commission from their referrals. And they went out and signed up businesses
as well, which was nice because I was able to leverage my time and results.

Then, after a month or two, entrepreneurial ADD kicked in and I never did anything with
it… for 13 years. (Yes, we recommend Aweber now but through a different affiliate account
for Nitro, the original account hasn’t been touched since then until now.)

Here’s the interesting thing.

Right now every month a check shows up, paying me a commission for those few hours
of work I put in 13 years ago in 1998. That, literally, is the true form of residual income.

Why Is a 13 Year Long Residual Income Possible?

(more importantly)

How Is It Possible RIGHT NOW?

It’s called “Golden Handcuffs” technology.

It’s a technology that delivers results (more customers, more money) to the companies that
use it.

And, once a company starts using it they will never change because of the “pain of
disconnect” is so great (for example setting up and moving all of their subscribers to a new
technology platform).

And since we are targeting local businesses, it is even less likely they will change because
they would have no idea, desire or ability to figure it out. All they care is it works and
makes them money.

And the opportunity with mobile marketing is dramatically bigger than the one with
autoresponders.

FIRST, the number of businesses that would sign up for it right now is in the tens of
millions. You just take 3 steps out your front door and you are tripping over new potential
clients.

SECOND, once they start using it, they will keep using it for years (think of the 13 year
residual income standpoint). And because it’s a monthly service, you get paid a commission
every single month.

THIRD, its an EASYYYY sale to make. When you use the “demo approach” we teach, within
a minute you have grabbed their attention and having them wanting to know more. Then,
next, just show them a video that sells the service for you and they are ready to get started.

We have members, their first DAY, lining up 2, 3, 6 or more appointments to close deals.

FOURTH, once they start using the service, you never have to deal with them again. No
support, no help, no nothing you have to do. Your ONLY job is to get businesses signed up.

FIFTH, if the mobile marketing platform you use has a robust reseller program, where you
are also compensated for brining on other agents… you can create tremendous leverage by
having other people signing up clients and you get a small piece of that business too.

That’s what I did with Aweber… I spent most of my time signing up clients, but also a small
amount of time getting other affiliates since I got 10% of what they sold as well.

What Businesses Are Good Fit?

If somebody has a business that is based on returning customers (restaurants, any type
of retail store, service providers like dentists or accountants, charities, churches, etc, etc,
etc…)

Or scheduled appointments where they would want to send an automated reminder of
their appointment (like salons, massage centers, dentists, law offices, etc, etc, etc…)

Or benefits from staying in touch with people (almost any business falls into this category,
as well as charities, churches, schools, sports teams, politicians, etc, etc, etc…)

How To Capitalize On This Residual Income Creating Window
of Opportunity?
